Matt entered at number 23 in the Royal Rumble. Despite having a minor injury, Matt did fairly well he took it to many guys and nearly elaminated Triple H. But when Matt and Viscera began fighting, the over 400 pound Viscera was too much for Matt who ended up being eliminated.
